Lakers Are Done Because Blake Sucks!

I don’t know what the Lakers were thinking last night, but that last play in Oklahoma City drawn up by Brown to give Blake the shot from the corner to try to win the game against the Thunder was just the most ridiculous, horrible play I’ve ever seen.  You gotta be kidding me.  You’re gonna give him the rock at the end of the game?  I mean, I know the old theory, everybody knows Kobe’s gettin’ the rock, don’t give him the rock is what people would believe would be the thing to do, but I’m not buying it.  I’d rather have Kobe shootin’ a three with hands in his face and guys in his grill and gettin’ hacked then let Steve Blake.  Steve Blake’s okay to shoot a jumper in the second and third quarter but I don’t want him anywhere near shooting the ball in fourth quarter, let alone the last shot of the game when his miss, in my opinion cost him the series.

You know that the LA Lakers are not winning four of five.  They’re not winning both games in LA and they’re not winning in Oklahoma City twice again.  They got Game 5 and Game 7 in Oak City.  They’re just not doing it.  That series is over because Brown gave Blake the ball to rest their laurels on that guy’s jumper at the end.  It was the kiss of death, series over, Lakers lose.  They’re down 2-0 now, forget it, write it off and they shouldn’t even play in the rest of the games.  Seriously, Steve Blake sucks so stop letting him shoot and stop letting him be a Laker.  I don’t care what anybody says, he awful. I mean, who cares if he can hit a jumper in the second quarter, who cares if he can and play some minimal defense?  Please, I’d rather have Metta World Peace shoot that jumper. (more…)
