Do The Pens and Blackhawks Suck So Far Or What?!?!

I just can’t figure out the Penguins.  My God, they lose another game in their new building where they are now 0-3.  They can’t win a game in their own brand new $300 million building.  What is going on?  Toronto beat them last night 4-3 and that just it really irks the shit out of me.  I mean what are they doing?  They got to be able to beat the Toronto Maple Leafs!  I know Brian Burke’s doing a good job up there with Kessel and Dion Phaneuf and Colby Armstrong and company, but My God!!  What are Crosby and Malkin doing?  Can’t they get a win at home for Christ’s sakes!!  It’s embarrassing!!  Talking about sucking, the Blackhawks don’t look like defending Stanley Cup Champs either.  I guess that’s what happens when you get rid of ten guys.  I mean for a defending Stanley Cup winner you suck!!  Nashville beat them 3-2 in Chicago and they were absolutely dominated on both ends of the ice.  I mean they were deep in their own end the entire game.  They have no goal tending and their defense is paper-thin now.  I know they have Duncan Keith and Seabrook, but they didn’t do anything last night and neither did any of the stars like Kane or Toews.  The Black Hawks look like shit and the Penguins look like shit.  I couldn’t even believe what I watching last night!!

The Devils finally won a game when they went into Buffalo and got a Kovalchuk overtime winner and beat them 1-0.  It was a great game with Brodeur and Ryan Miller putting on a show in Buffalo.  The game of the night was Tampa’s win in overtime over the Canadians.  They trailed the whole game but came back and got the overtime winner and I called that game on ScottBeatsTheMan.com.

There are two games tonight in College Football between Kansas and Kansas State and West Virginia and South Florida.  There are also six hockey games on the schedule.  The ALCS and NLCS start later in the week (Friday and Saturday).  Friday is the ALCS Game 1 where CJ Wilson goes against CC Sabathia and then Phil Hughes is going to pitch Game 2, Pettitte goes in Game 3 and oh God, look out, Burnett in Game 4.  Burnett’s been a disaster for the Yankees this year and I wouldn’t trust him in a playoff game as far as you could spit.  Whatever you do in Game 4, take Texas, I don’t even care if it’s in Yankees Stadium, he’ll probably get his ass beat.

The other thing I’m excited about this week is to see Ben Rothlesberger come back and start for the Steelers and go up against the Browns at Heinz Field.  Furthermore, the rookie Colt McCoy is starting for the Browns and he might get killed in that game, flat out.  I mean they may take his head off.  That’s going to fun to watch on Sunday in Pittsburgh, I’ll tell you that much. We’ll be on the air tonight at 8PM East (5PM West) on Sirius XM’s Howard 101.

Don’t forget a couple things.  On ScottBeatsTheMan.com, if you go on there and click the Tony Hawk banner, the Tony Hawk StandUpForSkateParks.org banner that’s on FerrallRadio.com (it’s right on the home page of FerrallRadio.com next to this vent), it will take you to ScottBeatstheMan.com where you can sign up for a free account and get in our football pool which runs from now until Christmas.  What’s going to happen is the winner gets prizes, gift certificates for shopping for Christmas, and then all the money that goes into the pool for the rest of the tournament will be donated to the Tony Hawk Foundation so we can build skate parks for kids.  So that’s pretty cool.  Check it out.

Don’t forget that I’ll be at Tony Hawks Stand Up for Skate Parks charity event this weekend where there will be a lot of celebrities, athletes and rock stars, Jane’s Addiction will be there playing. That’s Sunday, October 17. Go to StandUpForSkateParks.org to get involved and make a donation. One other bit of exciting news is that starting black Friday, November 26, there will be a new Affliction Clothing store at the Garden State Plaza in New Jersey right there by the 17 and 4. Go to AfflictionClothing.com for details. Their grand opening will be December 18 on a Saturday and Randy Couture will be there, Ferrall will be there, it should be cool.

Don’t forget to go into the store and get the new Shake It Up shirts in blue and gold, green and camouflage. They’re looking fresh. Everybody’s getting them. Follow me on Facebook at facebook.com/scottferrall79 and on twitter on @scottferrall. If you want to lose weight, get on the Lean by clicking the Nutrition 53 banner and get on Romanowski’s stuff, it works, believe me, I use it. You want a suit? Go to Joseph’s Custom Clothier on Third and ask for Joey Wendt. Spine, neck, back problems? Go to The Spine & Health Center in Montvale, New Jersey and ask for Dr. Kelly or Dr. Pete and they’ll set you straight. If you’re in Manhattan and looking for a great place to eat and drink in Times Square you have to check out Hurley’s on 48th between 8th and Broadway. That’s where Ferrall and the crew eat everyday. They have 2 great bars and 3 great floors with tons of Flat Screens to watch all your favorite sports and a sweet Tiki Bar open upstairs while the weathers still nice!!
