Ferrall is Back From the Mountains!!
I was gone Thursday and Friday on the air and now it’s Monday night and I’m ready to rock. We finished up our little mini vaca up at Crystal Springs in the mountains and had a blast. Golfed on Saturday and busted off a 76, it was one of the sickest rounds of golf I’ve ever played and I was just on it. I had a double bogey on 18 otherwise it could’ve been a 74 or 75. I ended up chipping in for birdie from 75 feet out on one hole and I had three bogeys and a double otherwise I pared every single hole. Zero three-puts and four one-puts, it was insane! I just was so amped up playing with Mafia and Dr. Pete. All of it was so crazy that I didn’t know what to do. As they say, I ran out of holes. I was just playing pretty hot golf, putting and chipping well and hitting seven and eight and nine irons and wedges like a bitch.
Last night I watched the Yankees come back from down 6-2 in the ninth. It all started with an A-Rod single and by the time the Yankees were done they had lit up Broxton for four runs and then Sherrill gave up his first homerun to a left hander in almost 200 at bats when Robinson Cano blasted a two-run shot with the game tied in the tenth and Mo closed it out yet again.
If you look at baseball, interleague play is over now and the hottest teams over the last three weeks have clearly been the Chicago White Sox and the Texas Rangers and throw in the San Diego Padres to boot. The Padres still lead in the west after they just got done sweeping the Marlins in Florida, their pitching has been the difference.
As for the World Cup, I’ve hit six consecutive games over the weekend into Monday, today hitting Brazil and the Netherlands. Hit both games on Sunday and both games on Saturday.
