Ferrall’s Covering Everything In the World Of Sports on Tuesday!!

Tonight at 8PM East (5PM West) on Sirius XM’s Howard 101 we got a lot going on, including talk about UFC 117 this Saturday night in Oakland, Cali.  We’ll talk about Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen; big fight there.  Minneapolis Star Tribune has been reporting that Brett Favre told the Vikings he is retiring because of his ankle but players and coaches have said it’s not true, who do you believe?!?  Plus, it’s announced that the heat are going to play the Lakers on Christmas day, and to open the season Miami plays at Boston.  So we’ll talk about those games.  The Steelers are taking a hard line on contracts and are not going to talk contract extensions with anybody this season at all.  Do you like to or not?  The Pitt Panthers are favored in the Big East, some Buckeyes are in trouble with the police, two Hawkeyes are suspended in Iowa City and the teams lose a key piece at the U when one of their big wide receivers and special teams guys is out because of grades and off-field problems.  We’ll talk about the Big Ten plans of a nine-game conference slate and no Notre Dame in their future.  There’s also some NHL news with Modano going to sign with the Red Wings and everything else going on off the ice.  We’ll talk about Ron Artest making fun of the Mets.  We’ll also do baseball power rankings as we watch some really good games tonight, like San Francisco/Colorado, Florida/Philly, Atlanta/Mets and San Diego/Dodgers.  Also, Roger Goodell says the Jaguars might be out of Jacksonville if those fans don’t start showing up for the games.  We’ll talk about it all when we see you tonight at 8PM East (5PM West) on Sirius XM’s Howard 101!!  Shake it up!!
