Ferrall’s Excited for the Brickyard 400!!
Tonight on the Ferrall Show it’s a Pain Free Friday!! There’s a lot going on this weekend, primarily the Brick Yard 400 in Indianapolis at the 500, one of Nascar’s biggest races. Tony Stewart would love to get it at 10 to 1 odds. There’s going to be some great racing going on. We’ll have Captain Thunder of CaptainThunderRacing.com on the show at around 11PM East ( 8PM West) tonight to preview the big weekend in Indy, and of course the race will be on Sirius 128.
We were talking NFL last night after Dez Bryant signed his contract with the Cowboys and Colt McCoy signed a $5 million dollar deal with the Browns. When I was driving home John Lackey and the Red Sox had a no hitter through seven. Jerry Manuel they say is kind of safe with the Mets but I don’t know, they way they’re playing you got to start asking if you believe any of that hype that he’s safe. Omar Minaya says he’s fine, nothing’s going to happen but they’ve just sucked it up on the road, they stink! Couldn’t believe the Nationals beat the Reds for the second straight day. The Yankees, killed the Royals in the Bronx 10-4 making Sabathia 13-3 now. He’s been amazing this year and he might win another Cy Young. Baseball trade rumors are about Roy Oswalt of the Astros and of course Dan Harren of the Diamondbacks, as well as guys like Ted Lilly, and there’s rumors that the Phillies are going to move Jason Werth, so there was a lot of hype like that on the show last night.
We also talked about this strange article I read from the Houston Chronicle saying that when you listen to sports talk radio in your car your reaction time decreases 20 percent and it’s almost like you’re driving drunk if you listen to sports talk radio and get all emotional about it. I thought that was pretty hilarious so I kind of threw it out there, what’s it like listening to the Ferrall Show on the radio. Is it so much thicker, quicker, louder, faster, crazier, rowdier, more intense, oozing, heavy metal music. Fans love it!
We’ll be hitting the NFL tonight and talk about quarterbacks that should be benched before the season even starts as training camps start in a couple of days. There’s some guys that just don’t have it anymore that are going into camp probably looking like they’re going to get the job but they shouldn’t. So we’re going to make fun of some guys that look washed up to us. Plus, we’ll talk about the worst off season moves in the NFL. Which teams did nothing or which teams just made bad moves all together. We’ll also talk about the 237 reasons to have sex. That should be interesting.
We’ll be previewing the weekend party scene. Mafia’s parents are having their annual blowout barbeque, street bash out on Long Island. I’m going to a bash at my friend’s bed and breakfast bar and restaurant. The place rocks and has the best pizza I’ve ever had, thin crust style. We’re going to be slugging down beers and snapping tunes, you can count on that. It’s supposed to be 100 degrees over the weekend in New York. A little bit steamy but I’ve got two invitations to play golf Saturday and Sunday. Plus, Ferrall has to pick up a generator because I’m sick of this power going out and I’m not going to have my Ferrallapalacial Mancave flooding again. I just can’t go through that anymore so it looks like I’m going to go pick up a generator with my boy, 5-0 Jimmy.
Listen, I’ve been trying to convince 34C to go on a girls’ vacation, a getaway from the stress of the kids and the pressure and the never-ending work and chaos that they create havoc for her in her life. I think she needs a little trip maybe down to St. Maarten or to Boca to get some chill time in, some rest and sleep, just lay back, lay out, and get some sun, some Pina Coladas where there’s no noise so she doesn’t have to listen to Ferrall or the kids, Gunner and McKenna, screaming all day, every day, seven days a week, 365. I told her she should go on a little break. I’m trying to convince her it would be a good idea. She doesn’t think I can handle the kids on my own, though, so that saga will continue on the Ferrall Show tonight, 8PM East (5PM West) on Sirius XM’s Howard101. Have a great day everybody. Shake it up!
