Football is Back and Ferrall is Pumped!!
If tonight was any indication of how great the college season’s going to be, then it is going to be a great season because Pitt and Utah put on a show out west in the mountains. Utah ended up winning it in overtime 27-24 and this game had it all. At the end of regulation, Pitt lined up for a field goal and the guy makes it, but there’s a flag, then he’s got to kick it again, and he misses, but there was a time out called at the last second so he had to kick it a third time, and then he pelted it through. It sent the game into overtime and when the overtime started Pitt threw an interception, so Utah got the ball and they played boring crap with some run it up the middle bullshit offense, but they moved the ball down into field goal range on the five and then the kid jacked it through for the Utah win. They’ve now won 18 straight games. It was an awesome football game to be honest with you. Pitt was ranked 15th and they played great. Lewis looked good but he got hurt at the end of the game, looked like he either hurt his leg or his side as he was limping off the field. That could be bad news for Pitt since he’s their Heisman candidate. But it was really a awesome night of college football all around. Ohio State won big and Indiana, Minnesota and the Miami Canes put on a show but there were also some close finishes like when the Gophers scored a touchdown with four minutes left to win that game at Middle Tennessee State. It was just an overall great night in college football.
We’ll do it again tonight with Arizona and Toledo as well as 15 baseball games on the slate. CC Sabathia won his 19th game last night. It was a light night of baseball, but a full night tonight.
