From Disney Ferrall Calls the Jayhawk Loss

I’m checking in from Disney World late Saturday night.

Last night I went to watch Captain Thunder and his son Ty race in quarter midget cars with my boy Bubba the Love Sponge from the Howard Stern channels.  Of course, Bubba’s son Tyler is 8.  He races and Thunder’s kid Ty who’s 6 they both race.  It was crazy.  We were at New Smyrna Racetrack and we were there for like all night watching these kids ripping around this track.  It was crazy, chaotic and wild.  It was fun to party with Bubba for a while though.

And then today we came to Disney, and the thing that was great about Friday was while I was at the track I went 21 and 10 in the NCAA games on Friday.  In the second round games I went 9, 6 and 1 in spreads and 13 and 3 on the Money Line just picking flat out winners.  I was smoking hot on Scottbeatstheman.com, and then I turned around and did it again on Saturday.

How about these apples?

I hit St. Mary’s with their upset over Nova on the spread and Money Line, 75-68, the Gaels with a huge upset of the second seeded Villanova Wildcats.  Butler beat Murray State.  I had Butler to win, but I had Murray State with 2½.  They covered.  They lose by 2, 54-52.  That was sweet.  I had Tennessee to win, Ohio to cover.  The Vols blew them out, 83-68, so I get the win on the Money Line with Tennessee.

The biggest upset of the day, I had Northern Iowa and 11½ points against Kansas, the No. 1 seed, and Northern Iowa beats them flat out, 69-67.  That was huge.  I hit Baylor to win and to cover the spread Old Dominion.  I lost Washington against New Mexico, that was 82‑64.  The Baylor game was 76-68, Bears.  Kansas State I hit to win and cover the spread against BYU, 84‑72 and I had Kentucky.  They blew out Wake.  The Wildcats are the No. 1 seed as well, 90‑60, a 30-point win.  They covered the 9½ and won on the Money Line.  So I went 6 and 2 in spreads in the NCAA second round games Saturday and 6 and 2 on the Money Line, 12 and 4 Saturday.

You simply can’t slow Ferrall down. Even having to take the kids to see the stupid mouse down here can’t.

Hockey, here’s what I had from Saturday before the night was up:  Chicago was leading Phoenix late, 4-3 in the third.  Vancouver was up two goals on Detroit in the second and LA was up a goal on the Islanders in the first in L.A.  Finals, Carolina rallied to beat the Penguins 3-2, Dallas 5-4 over Ottawa.  Saint Louis 1-nothing, the shutout over the Devils in Jersey.  Atlanta 5-2 over Philly.  Toronto beat Montreal 3‑2.  Washington 3-1 winners in Tampa.  Nashville 1-nothing over Columbus at home.

In the NBA, Chicago won in Philly, 98-84.  Miami 77-71 over Charlotte.  Toronto by 10 over New Jersey.  Utah blew out the Hornets 106-86.  Memphis, huge 123-107 over Golden State.  Milwaukee was up 4 late on Denver on the road and Boston was up 6 on Dallas late in Dallas.

The Arizona Cardinals signed linebacker Joey Porter, the veteran who was in Miami the last few years and Pittsburgh before that.

The Washington Nationals in baseball sent their top pick in baseball, pitcher Steven Strasburg, to AA to start the season.  Commissioner Bud Selig is in favor of division realignment.  We’ll see if that happens.

In the NHL they cannot sign Ryan Kesler to a six‑year, $30,000,000.00 deal.

And Mr. Klitschko Wladimir, he knocks out Eddie Chambers in the 12th round to retain his WBO and IBF heavyweight championships, and they announced the Vazquez Marquez fight, Vazquez against Marquez.  It’s scheduled for May 22 at the Staples Center in Lipstick City.

So, 34C, Gunner and McKenna, little Mac we call her, we’re all down at Disney raging for the vaca, my final vaca before I get back and start up a new basically year for me, on Sirus, back on March 29, it’s a Monday, so I’m off next week.

Miserable Men are doing the show on Monday and Tuesday and then Mafia and Sweet Lou are doing it Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Go to Ferrallradio.com for everything to do with the show.  Check out Tauntr.  Go to On the Bench to see show photos.  Go in the store to get Shake It Up shirts, hats and Team Ferrall Remetee shirts, and of course you can get to my picks everyday from Ferrallradio.com.  Just click Get Scott’s Picks or simply go to Scottbeatstheman.com.  I’ll check in from Disney periodically.  Keep riding my NCAA tournament basketball picks, spreads and Money Line winners.  All I’m doing is going off.  I mean I hit 12 more today.  I mean 21 on Friday and 12 more.  Thirty-three winning bets in two days for you.  Are you kidding me?  I mean who does that?  Nobody does that.  Ferrall does that, that’s who, slick.  Have a great weekend, what’s left of it.  I’m going to go rage at one of the parks tomorrow here at Disney.  I was chilling in the jacuzzi with the Young Gun and Little Mac earlier.  Had a steak for dinner.  Now I’m going to try to work 34C’s bones.  I’ll check in again soon.  Peace.
