How About Eli Manning Getting Smashed Up!!
Last night was all about watching Eli Manning get his head ripped off in that Giants / Jets game at the new Meadowlands in the first game ever there, for bragging rights of whose stadium is it. Well it still belongs to Big Blue after a 31-16 blowout where the biggest play of the game was early on when Manning got jacked up from behind and his helmet ripped off of his head and his forehead was gushing blood. It was ugly! He ran over to the sideline and they were toweling him off and he was just dripping blood off of his skull, it was crazy. A guy called the show and said he was sitting in the Mara’s box and Eli’s wife was loosing her mind after it and it was just kind of gory for a pre-season game. The Giants blew them out with this kid Cruz out of UMass, the receiver for the Giants, having a huge game. He just earned a spot on that team after going for 145 yards and 3 touchdowns. It was an ugly game in the 2nd half but it was kind of funny for me cause I had the Giants getting 2 ½. It’s so funny because all we hear about here in New York is how the Jets are going to win the Super Bowl, its automatic, case closed, Gang Green are going to go unbeaten, nobody can stop them, nobody can play with them, they are undeniable, they are the best game in the league, on Hard Knocks, yadda yadda, all these veteran players and of course ESPN interviewed nothing but Jets all night long on the sidelines with their super suck-off job on Rex Ryan as they were getting their asses handed to them by the Big Blue. The Giants have always owned this town and they still do! I think the Jets may have a better team than the Giants this year, but not last night. It was all G-men, 31-16. They made it look easy.
