It Was All About Comebacks and Football on Wednesday!!

There were some crazy games in baseball yesterday afternoon that we were talking about them on the show last night.  The Rockies had a nine-run comeback to beat the Braves 12‑10 at Coors for the sweep.  Then Cincinnati beat the Giants 12‑11 in a crazy game where the Giants took the lead in the bottom of the eighth 11‑10, but the Reds tied it in the ninth on a error by Sandoval throwing over to first and they eventually got the winning run home on a single to right, and they held on to win the game.  Dusty Baker’s team is tough as Hell, I’m telling you what!

We were also talking about the 18‑game schedule that’s inevitable in the NFL with Mike Florio of NBC Sports and Profootballtalk.com in a great interview.  We even talked about all of the NFL futures for season with the Vegas win totals for every team in the league.  We’re gonna do more of that tonight but on the college football side of things.

Speaking of college football, we’re gonna be taping our new football web TV show at Hurley’s this afternoon at 4PM East.  We’ll be there from about 4PM to 5:00‑5:30 if you wanna come out and hang with us.  It’s at 48th Street between Eighth and Broadway.  It’s gonna be a weekly show that we’re gonna put on for FerrallRadio.com.  I think you’ll dig it!

Jim Furyk slept in yesterday and missed his pro‑am tee time at 7:30 in the morning for the Barclays so he was disqualified from the tournament.  We had Brian Katrek of PGA Radio on last night to talk about that, as well as Tiger’s divorce.  He’ll be on again tonight, Friday and Monday talking about the first tournament in the Fed Ex Cup.  There’s four of them total, so Furyk’s dead in the water after being 3rd in points before this debacle.  We’ll follow the tournament as it goes with Katrek on the air.

We’ll see you tonight, 8PM East (5PM West) on Sirius XM’s Howard 101.  Have a great day.  Shake it up!!
