Miami Gets Lebron…Everyone Else Hates His Guts!!
All the drama and all the suspense and all the predictions and all the hype and all the begging and all the teams sucking up to Lebron and he takes the easy route and he signs with the Heat so he can have an easy dream team scenario down in Miami with Wade and Bosh. We had Sid Rosenberg on the show last night, he’s up in New York doing WFAN for a couple of weeks and he says it totally destroyed the make up of the Eastern Conference and of basketball in general. Now you have the Lakers and Heat and everybody else sucks. If he was a real man he would have come to New York and rebuilt the Knicks and won a championship at the Garden. Instead he’s going the simple way where he’s got superstars all around him that he has played with in the Olympics, easy money, easy gig and now everybody in Cleveland wants him dead. They hate him more in Cleveland now than Art Modell. They might has well give Art Modell the key to the city because Lebron is now public enemy #1, he can’t even go back to Akron. When he comes home there to play a game against the Cavs in the coming years he’s going to be vilified, despised, hated, booed, trashed and humiliated. He’s just not safe in Cleveland and it’s not going to be any easier in New York where they’re going to basically want to kick his teeth in.
We had Rahsaan and Begin to begin live from the Garden last night with Knicks fan reaction and it was violent and filthy and disgusting and repulsive to say the least. They hate his guts and he’s going to be the most hated guy Public Enemy No. 1 in New York forevermore. So after all the drama he shows up in a Pizza Hut tablecloth shirt to cheese out and do a gay interview with Jim Gray and then ESPN sucked his balls for an hour after they had a three-hour Sportscenter prior to the Decision show. The whole thing was a joke! President Obama talked about the oil spill for 20 minutes and Lebron James does a one-hour television special for the Boys and Girls Club charity. It was just hilarious and I just thought the whole thing was ridiculous.
Judah Friedlander was also in the studio last night. You know him from 30 Rock. He’s going to be appearing live Friday night and Saturday night at 8PM East and 10:30PM East at Comics in New York City.
Tonight it’s a pain free Friday, we’ll be on the air talking about the World Cup final between the Netherlands and Spain and we’ll give you the weekend baseball match-ups as well as Saturday night racing for NASCAR. You’ll get it all at 8PM East (5PM West) on Howard 101.
