The Lakers Looked Like Crap Last Night!!
It’s Monday and I have to tell you that the Celtics win over the Lakers was disgusting to me. I mean, my God, Boston just kicked their ass! Don’t be fooled by that six‑point win and the late garbage buckets by LA. They got dominated in that Game 5 in Boston, I mean total domination. It seemed to me to be a double digit lead the entire night. I mean it would be 14, 12, 11, 9, 11, 14, 11, I mean they just kicked their ass. I have never seen a team shoot hotter than the Boston Celtics did in that game, they hit every shot they threw up! At one point Paul Pierce had to have been shooting perfect for the night ’cause he made ever single jump shot he took, and they didn’t guard him. Can somebody on the fucking Lakers guard this guy?! How many fucking times are you going to let a guy shoot a 15-foot jumper in your, with no one in front of him. Garnett and Pierce just got their rocks off. It’s amazing to me. At one point last night in the fourth quarter I saw Kobe Bryant go right over to Phil Jackson in a timeout and said “let me guard him” because Artest couldn’t stop him. Not only did Artest not guard him, he just let him shoot free wheeling jumpers the whole night, just whatever he wanted to do; pull ups, drives, fade aways. There was no one guarding him. He just did whatever he wanted and hit shot after shot after shot after shot.
The Lakers deserved to lose. Kobe Bryant in the third quarter came out and scored 24 straight points for the Lakers because he had to because nobody else on LA could hit a fucking shot. I mean, it was unbelievable. They looked pathetic in Boston in Game 5. In fact, so pathetic they don’t deserve to win the NBA championship. Now, you know they’re going home and they’ll win Game 6 and force Game 7 just the way David Stern and the NBA wants it. I mean, that’s about as automatic as that tomorrow will come. Game 6 is tomorrow night, Tuesday night, at the Staples Center and Thursday night’s going to be Game 7, it’s just inevitable. There’s no way that the Lakers are gonna shoot that bad again in Game 6 like they did Sunday night in Boston. The only good thing about Game 5 was my “Wipeout” and “Downfall” commercials on ABC TV ’cause that game was a totally lopsided domination. The Celtics did whatever they wanted, Rondo did whatever he wanted, Allen did whatever he wanted, Garnett did whatever he wanted and Pierce owned the night, this was a joke. It was not a good game to watch unless you’re a Boston fan. I said that I thought Boston would win this series ’cause they are just tougher than the Lakers. The Lakers seem like movie stars and the Celtics are lunch pail. They’ll bang you, they’ll hit you, they’ll throw elbows, they’ll fight, they’ll complain, they’ll do everything and I just thought it was a joke, I really did.
I saw that great game last night with Ted Lilly, the Cubs and White Sox. He’s throwing a no hitter into the ninth. He didn’t get it, but the Cubs won the game. The Blackhawks celebrated their Stanley Cup win at Wrigley yesterday. They did photos with the White Sox and Cubs.
They’re thinking about banning the Vuvuzela’s those horns at the World Cup that they blast and drive you nuts as itsounds like hornets and bees buzzing around the World Cup games. All the players are complaining and they’ve had nothing but problems with that noise. They said people start blowing them at 6:00 in the morning and they blow them until midnight and no one can think straight, and I know people around here people are complaining about it too. 34C won’t watch the World Cup because that noise drives her nuts and I think it’s funny how everybody’s bothered by it.
